Producer trio plans to bring a little heat of their own across the Midwest

Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee, WI, will host a collaboration concert entitled Give Us Peace on Saturday, May 21 at 7:30 PM, at the Oconomowoc Arts Center. Featuring Bel Canto Chorus with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and two other local choruses.

Bel Canto Chorus is pleased to announce the winners of its 22nd Annual Regional Artists Competition are Soprano Romelia Lupas of Detroit, Michigan, and Countertenor Eric Jurenas of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Waukesha Choral Union presents the All-Beethoven concert, April 30, 2011, 8:00 p.m. in Shattuck Auditorium on the Carroll University campus. The performance of four works by Ludwig van Beethoven includes the Mass in C major and “Choral Fantasy.”

Waukesha Choral Union will present a free concert of Handel’s “Messiah” on March 27, 2011 at 3:00pm in Shattuck Auditorium. Ernest Brusubardis, III, conducts choir including volunteer community singers, orchestra, and soloists.

The Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra board votes to end the 2010-11 season with “Remembrance: Legacy of the Civil War,” a joint performance with the Bel Canto Chorus on March 13, 2011. The MCO concert scheduled for March 27, 2011 will be rescheduled.
