Mangrove Underground, former Florida journalist Tim W. Jackson’s debut novel, has been named a USA Book News “Best Books 2011” Award finalist for literary fiction.

The annual Written Art Awards have been announced for the best books published in 2009 in their category. The awards were established to honor self-published or independently published authors with a North American reading audience.

On March 7, 2009, authors of winning books entered in Reader Views Literary Awards were announced and 14 sponsors distributed prizes to finalists in 32 fiction and nonfiction categories.
